I am repairing a Zenith transistor radio, model Z412W. Its power transformer has two separate windings. It seems the first feed a more or less conventional bridge (two arrays of two diodes each) and the second feed a simple diode maybe to give polarization to the final power output stage. I think it is a bit unusual, so prior to take a lot of work taken the information from the wires and printed board, I wonder if anyone could send to me the schematic. Thanks in advance. Jorge.

Tom, thank you for your answer. I am a bit older than this transistor radio too.... I love all kind of radios, everyone has something special. If you or anyone can send to me this schematic it could be fantastic! Jorge

Thank you very much! As you can see the power supply is not simple. What a nightmare of design! Five different tensions in addition to the main supply. Just now the radio is working after I changed two electrolytics, but the sound is distorted. With a signal-tracer I realized the sound is clear on volume pot so the problem is in the power amplificator or maybe it can be fixed with a general recapping. Somebody changed Q9 by a 2SB75, cutting its wires and soldering the new wires on the remaining upper the printed circuit. There is some work to do for fix this radio! Thank you again. Jorge.

Hi fellows! The radio is now working very well. The problem was in the two final power transistor. Somebody had replaced them by 2SB75 instead 2SB156 stated on the schematic. In addition they had very different quiescent current and the involved resistors had rise their resistance more than 40% each. The cure have been to replace the output transistors by AC128 carefully selected to be almost identical and replace the resistors by the correct ones. Thank you again fellows! Jorge.
