I recently bought a Sunglow Melody Chest and I know there have been discussions in past forums about this radio but has anyone ever found the schematics for it or something close.
There are probably about sixty or so models with this tube line up(80,45,24,24,24) but since this was being made in Ohio I should limit my search for those manufactured there.

The caps have been replaced and with the exception of the electrolytics, the other caps are soldered on one end and the other leads disconnected.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Phil

Made in Ohio?

Try Crosley -- they had three chassis with those tubes: 53, 54 and 57 (all the same), 48 and 58.

Generally believed to have been made in northern Ohio.

Phil, I just ran across this in an issue of Radio Retailing and remembered you were looking for information. Hopefully this will help you a little:

Affiliated with Hartman of Mansfield Ohio.

I have seen only a couple Hartman radios over the years. It is a very obscure company with little information about them. :(
