Got it for $25. Box needs lots of work. The chassis came with these 419X NA-ALD adapters to use 30 instead of 01A. At least the Silvertone 30s all test ok. Also came with Silvertone 1A2 ballast.
Looks like both audio transformers are open but the RFs are ok. Somebody added another tube socket to the 1st RF and the last RF coil has been dismounted.

Check the audios, should be an easy restore. You can choose the 30's or 01a's. The box is simple enough to refinish. Sounds like a fun project.

Hmmm,

It has occurred to me that the radio may have been modified to be a short-wave receiver.. Consider the routing of the wiring that connects to the outboard socket. A shortwave plug in coil may have been used in that socket...

Perhaps, it was modified to connect to an A. C. Dayton-Flewelling short wave adapter?
