Do you have a radio room / museum? A few people have posted threads in the past, so let's get a new round started. Here is our radio room:

Most of my collection is spread around the house. I do have one area where I do my electrical work and is my own part of the house though. Here are two pictures.

Nice neat display fellas. Here are a couple of pictures of my main room. Sorry it's a little messy at the moment.

Wow you guys! My wife only allows one out at a time. I only own two (most was four at one time) but here is my 'radio room' right this second.

That's my kids' grandmother reading them "The Elf on the Shelf" for their first time.

I seriously envy you guys with clean, orderly radio displays.

You certainly have more time on your hands than I do!

This is more my radio "house!" They are all over the house and in the garage. These are all in line to be restored. I have a huge road ahead of me! The RCA Victor 15X and Zenith 6-D-311 are the 2 that I have restored so far. The Philco 38-116XX I saved from a junk pile. It will need A LOT of work but it will probably be my centerpiece when its done. The chassis is sitting on the shelf. Also love my Edison record cabinet! My wife says I need to seek counseling. She says I have a problem!

Here are some pix of mine, unless you're fairly new here
you've likely already seen it.
It's in a converted 2 car garage.
There's a link to my web pages below where you can see more
photos.

PLEASE learn how to rotate your photos before posting them,
it's not all that hard.

File comment: one of them that lives in the livingroom, not in the display room.

Mine or John's? (k9uwa)

Mine came from the Salt Lake City area and originally belonged to L. S. Skaggs, the intermountain director of Safeway.
Bought it in 2007 from the 3rd owner.
It is as original as possible. Restuffed the caps and did my best to keep it looking original inside and out. It could use a refinish, but I've decided to leave it alone.

My Strat came from Vancouver, BC. Its original owner was some VP for Canadian Pacific Railroad. The radio was placed into a consignment
antique store in Vancouver, BC by the original owners granddaughter. It was purchased by a radio collector in Vancouver a couple years later and
I purchased the radio from him in the summer of 2007. I went that fall to pick up the radio.

Like Steve all the caps and other parts are restuffed so it looks original from the top as well as the bottom of the chassis. So far we haven't
gotten around to doing anything with the cabinet.

Man those are both awesome stories! Had to be someone special to own one of those when they were new. Hope someday I can see and hear one in person. I've read that the sound quality is outstanding from them. Maybe one of you could post a Youtube video? There is one out there already but the video quality isn't very good. The sound is however. Thanks for the pictures guys!

I only have radios in one room of the house. Right now the radios share the room with Christmas presents (on the floor at the left).

I bet that is! It has the same brochere on the top and it looks like one of his other radios in the background.
