Just for amusement, I thought you would like to see this.

Here is the front. It is a SW R149A. Four bands Including longwave. Advertised in the local paper for $25, so I couldn't resist.

Good deals come up occasionally. Nice find, I say. 12 tubes, dual speakers, PP 6L6 output, for $25! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I've got one of these myself. BIG beautiful radio!

Its good to see yours has the knobs and what looks to be good grill cloth.

It was the top end S-W radio for 1936/1937.
