Its a Stewart Warner 900 series cabinet from about 1929/30

Agree, Stewart-Warner. I have a plainer-looking cabinet like that with a model 950 radio slid in from the back. There are some pictures on here but I don't know how to post a link to that. Search Stewart-Warner 950 maybe to find it.

I called it a console radio but it is really a speaker cabinet with a shelf for the radio to sit on, the dials and stuff align with opening in front.

I found a different thread but with good pictures. Actually they are blurry b ut show the complete unit, maybe stripped of its original finish tho.
