What a sad day.....

Another one falls victim to the radio hobby... Soon you will run out of room for them and your stash will move in to bathrooms and spare rooms. You will want bigger and better radios and then....THEN! You will have to sleep with them because they are surrounding you except for a path to the bed.

+1 Make sure the supply ground is NOT passed through to any third pin on the output side. Secondary must be completely separate, of course.
Finally, and we always have to say this, variacs (more useful than dim-bulb testers) are NOT isolation units. If you get one, put it after the isolation transformer.
