Pardon me if this has been done before, but let's see photos of just your favorite dials, and then maybe people can guess what they are from.

Here is mine. I'm sure it won't take long to be identified. 8)

I'm a sucker for the early Zenith dials.

Here's mine - my Silvertone 4787. It reminds me of a car dash.

My favorite is this one. Had to take photo at a slight angle to minimize reflections.

Notice any similarities with my Airline 62-301 console?

Not my radio but a Grunow that I restored for a customer a few years ago.

DeForest Crowley sure had some sweet dials.

I can't leave this one out. I love the subtle differences from the first Masterpiece VI and the McMurdo Silver 15-17...

Nice to see how so many of these dials posted have the AM broadcast band go up to 1700 KC.
Back in the 30s, the extended band was to pick up police calls.
Now the AM band actually goes up to 1700, so it is a win! :D

Quite often dials only went to 1500 or 1600 KC and up to 1700 and beyond was picked up on the next band. As the case with the 1000Z.

Not to be a party pooper, but there's already a very long thread (10 pages) where hundreds of these usually gorgeous dials are displayed: http://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=269298, the most recent post being about two weeks ago. I know that thread is about escutcheons, but the dials themselves are included in 99.9% of cases, often beautifully photographed.

That thread was aimed at escutcheons.

Granted, dials got included.

My Capehart dial would not fit that thread :D
