Here is a console somone wants to sell locally. Can anyone identify it? From what I can tell it does not look to special. I have too many consoles already. Quality over quantity is my new moto.....it's so hard to say no tho.

Could it be a Canadian set? It looks a bit like a lower end Canadian Westinghouse for some reason. The cabinet isn't too bad, the veneer band in the middle might be real.
Best Regards
Arran

Has a very strong resemblance to a Wells-Gardner built Coronado that I've had for years. Wells Gardner contract built sets for many different retailers ie Montgomery Ward (Airline), Western Auto (Truetone) and Gambles (Coronado) and others.

If it has the same chassis as my Coronado it has 5 tubes 6SA7, 6SK7, 6SF7, 6V6 and a 6X5 rectifier.

I am going to guess Coronado or perhaps monkey Wards. There seem to be alot of those around these parts.

I think it's a Western Auto store brand.

I'm with Randy on that one. Coronado look. May have been sold under other store brand names.
