 Post subject: Vint. TV Ant. Rotator Transformers

Some years ago I had a few ant. rotator transformers in junkbox and made a source of B+ using one. If memory serves, I think the AC out was about 50 volts. I used a volt. doubler ckt. and had a cheap B supply--the transf. primary even had a overtemp protector (fuse action) built in. And, there was isolation from a "hot chass." situation because of transformer windings.
Makes me want to go build another one--maybe a volt. tripler this time.I would guess it could handle a hundred MA or more.
