I'm not quite sure this qualifies as a tool, so I put it here in "Hints and Kinks". Some of you will recognize it, some of you won't. It's a big CPU heat-sink out of an old Dell OptiPlex and it is a very handy item to have on your bench. The top, flat side can be used as an anvil (no, it cannot be used to forge horseshoes). The fins can be used to hold a wire you are trying to tin. If you get one you will see what I mean as far as its usefulness.
