First of all it's 1940's - not '20's! (a two-second google check could verify that!)
Did they make a small tabletop radio of this style, or is this just a butchered phono.?

This is the only model I've ever seen:

Butchered. Take a look at the rear bottom edge. They weren't sawing straight and had to fudge it.

Your right Larry. Guess I should have seen that! It's funny how they did the cut so cleanly and chip-free, and then made a major goof like that!
This phono. and the compact plaskon Remler, where always two radio/phono.'s that stood out for me.

Yeah, I like that player too, wouldn't mind having one. It's got that cool streamlined look.
