Well it is nicely artfully made as a prop, not some crap like the cathedral radio with the garbage glued all over it. What we need is a device for bringing back dead radios, oh wait, I got that!

You really have to wonder... is it a scam, or do they actually send you plans for a real thing, though it will just happen to be about as large and expensive as the LHC?

Nick, not to worry, the parts for the item that Wazz brought up are not made of unobtanium --the seller mentions they provide the Radio Shack part numbers for assembly.

I think I can simplify it and use transistors, then I can keep it in my pocket and some folks, Tesla comes to mind
