Anyone have an idea how to enter an item on EBay that will require multiple boxes to ship?

I do not want to get screwed on shipping.

Thanks

+1, and include the shipping plan in your description. I once sold an Altec Rack Mount Amp, shipping the tubes in one package, and the amp in another. Buyer paid the total of the two shipping and insurance amounts.

Insure each for the full price of the buyer's payment, as without one package, the item is useless.

I believe Willeezwarez just specifies "Freight" and "Please email for shipping quote," when he has to ship a console in multiple boxes.

Same setup as this auction...

...except it would say that it will be shipped in multiple boxes. And I think he usually includes a total cost for domestic shipping.

thanks guys

I found a reference on EBay that you weigh and price shipping each box to the farthest location and then list it as fixed shipping

You would think EBay would have this figured out by now
