They ruined a nice Coronado console. Might be a chance to save it, looks like the chassis is still there.

Looks like someone stuck a muffin where one of the knobs should be. Why does that radio remind me of a cow?

That is one helluva nice escutcheon... wow. Yes, I think it could be reconverted back..but good luck with that... All the Philco 41-280 types (on every single city in the USA craigslist) to pick from..they had to pick this radio to ruin. I've never seen one.
