Hello,

Im here after a long time. Home issues had gotten me busy. I built another amp with the UCL 82 with the circuit you gave. it turned out fine. This time i used a proper OPT for an El84. Thanks a lot for your guidance and time! I played around a bit with the cathode by pass cap and the it does effect the bass.

What i need now is a schematic to build a nice sounding but very simple single ended 12ax7 EL84 stereo amp. I have the tubes for it. i have a couple of 12AT7s and 12AU7s as well. i have to OPTs caniibalized from non working radios which had EL84 in the output stage. Resistors and caps wont be an issue. With my existing PT i get a DC out ( b+) of around 250 volts DC( enough for loudness??). and 6 volts tap as well.

Warm Regards.

Amit
