I recently found a Hitachi CS-4303. The wires connecting the amp to the speakers were missing and I would like to hook them back up. The amp's output is composite and the speakers seem to take just regular speaker wire. However, I can't seem to see where I would connect the wire to the speaker, and what would I have to do connect a cable that is composite on one end and speaker wire on the other - or am I missing something here? Thanks

PS, I have pictures but I'm a new user so I can not post them.

Yes, that's what it says on the back of the unit. I couldn't find anything online either which is part of my problem. It says it was made in Canada so maybe that makes it more difficult to find.

What do you mean that the output is composite? Is this a video device? Maybe someone on the TV forum can recognize it.

Does he mean the speaker outputs use RCA jacks perhaps?

Think he does mean RCA jacks as in his original post he asks if he can plug the RCA Jacks (composite) into the amp and the bare ends wires attach to the speaker. You can buy RCA jacks with bare ends, depends whats on the back of the speakers as a connection point.
