We bought this Magnavox Model 49 from its original owner about 35 years ago. My husband, a woodworker, loved the walnut cabinet. It has been a piece of furniture in our home since. We are moving to a contemporary home and I don't know what to do with this. We'd like it to end up with someone who would enjoy restoring it. I've looked on other sites but have not seen one that looks like ours. We don't even know how to value it. any advice? (Sorry about the photos - the are right-side up on my computer but some rotated when I uploaded them here)

Beautiful cabinet!. Problem with this player is the phono would have to be updated to a modern one to be useful to most buyers...unless you find a strictly 78 lover. If it's AM/FM that's a plus. As is, I'd say I would value it at $50-$75 on Craig's List, as it probably needs a lot of work electrically and mechanically.
