Does anybody else here collect them? These are like the TV guide but only for radio shows listing when the shows were on and have some neat articles on the stars of the shows. thanks Chris

Never seen or heard of them but you have gotten me interested!! Especially since there are stories about the shows stars!!!! Can you give me any titles the guides went by, I'd like to look into further!

This link will take you to an old time radio researcher's site where a lot of those magazines have been scanned and available to read online: http://otrr.org/pg06b_magazines.htm .

Philcolynn, They were like TV guides but for the OTR shows. There were some local and some national ones. They are easily found on ebay under radio guides and range from a few dollars to 50.00 usually depending who is on the cover.

I also have a small collection of the guides; I really enjoy them and like to find "todays date in history" when I can to see what would have been on the air.
I probably have about 50 different ones.

Tom, That is what I do also. I also like to listen to Antioch also. They play the day's radio shows on the air. It is really neat to hear shows on the day they were actually played.
