Complete radio broadcast day from September 21, 1939...all the programs, commercials, etc., 21 hours worth non-stop. I've downloaded other old radio programs, but nothing like this. I then made a .mp3 CD of all 21 hours, in order...what a wild time warp. Here's several links to where you can find this:
http://www.zootradio.com/
You need a login and password to download from this site, but they are easy to get. All you have to do is join the forums there.
You can also find it here (this site from the Univ. of Virginia is all about the 1930s; it's outstanding):
http://xroads.virginia.edu/~1930s/front.html
Go to the "Site Index", then "The 1930s On The Air".
------------------
My antique radios:
http://www.geocities.com/jingram05/index4.html

The way the .mp3 segments are compressed (Kb per second), not long to download. I took the 19 .mp3 files off of the ZootRadio site in about half an hour. They're each an hour long when played back, some a little more than that, so the total comes out to 21 hours. I made a .mp3 CD out of them all, in order, so it plays like the actual broadcast. My DVD/CD player I have hooked up to my Marantz receiver is what I use to broadcast (via AM transmitter connected to the headphone jack) OTR radio shows and programs to my old radios.
------------------
My antique radios:
http://www.geocities.com/jingram05/index4.html
