I am selling my 1939 Cossor. Not many of these made it 'across the pond'. Its a fairly tall set but not exactly heavy. Ran on 2 batteries. One 120 volt and one 2 volt for the filaments.
The Good:
Original finish. Almost all new wiring, new caps, and a few new resistors. Set has been cleaned and all controls lubed and cleaned. Overall good original condition.
The Bad: Whoever owned the set before must have hooked up the wrong battery to the wrong leads and blew the tubes. These aren't exactly "unobtanium" tubes and can be bought from various British sites. But I just don't have the time and at this point have too many radios.
Price: $50 OBO.
