Forum rules

The following requirements must be followed when advertising personal antique radio / TV / audio / phono items (such as discussed in the forums here) for sale in the classifieds forum::

  • Titles must START with : FS (for sale) or WTB (want to buy) or Trade or Free at the beginning of the title..
  • FS posts must have an "asking" price and offers may be sent by PM. Are you parting something out? ... price each major part (not things like screws and nuts)
  • There must be a location somewhere in the ad or the members profile (City & State or Zip Code are the minimum requirement).
  • Ads are limited to two per day, and may not be bumped sooner than 7 days after the last post to the thread.
  • No outside sales links are allowed other than to pictures of actual items being sold. No links allowed to eBay, Craigslist etc.
  • This is NOT a discussion forum. If you're not buying or supplying or suggesting a relevant solution, don't post - send a Private Message. Comments on pricing will be deleted.
  • First to post to an item for sale stating "I WILL TAKE IT" it is first in line. Subsequent claims will be followed in the order they are posted. Claims to "Take it" can be conditional on unknowns such as shipping costs.
  • Any "PM sent" posts without posting a reason for the PM will be deleted as they are meaningless to anyone else reading the thread.
  • Once a deal is made, edit the title to say so and the thread will be locked

If your thread or post disappears - read the rules again - no warnings or explanations will be given when threads or posts are deleted.

Two Radiola 18s and two RCA 100-A speakers. In Seattle, WA; pickup available in Seattle or in Redmond or shipping to the Lower 48 only (sorry AK/HI/Canada, nothing personal).

Accepting offers on anything that's left here.

SOLD Radiola 18 #1: Good original condition finish, including inlay, just some minor wear and tear. Back intact as well. The lamp hood is gone (parted out and sold) but the rest is intact. A tiny touch of Howards will make this good as new. Electrically, it needs a little work but probably not much. It looks like someone has done a bunch before - it looks like at least some work has happened on both the power supply and tuner. The tuner itself, turns freely through the entire range and the dial cable is intact so no adjustment should be necessary. Missing all but 3 tubes (27 71A 80). Reduced by half to $25

SOLDRCA 100-A #1: Excellent physical condition. Both grille cloths intact, cloth covered cord completely intact, pin connectors in excellent shape, coil intact at 1400 Ohms and I can confirm I've heard this speaker play a station when used with an old AK. $25

Radiola #2: In as-found condition, completely. Power cord looks replaced with a different cloth covered cord. Cabinet is rough. Tuner turns freely through 90% of the motion but drags a little at one end. Missing the dial lamp hood and all the tubes. $20

Image

SOLD RCA 100-A #2: Some crud, one cloth torn. Don't measure continuity, but the cord is in rough shape and I haven't checked further. $10

Standard rules apply...note here and PM, etc etc.

Last item available is the rougher Radiola 18...shipping is about $40 for it to anywhere in the lower 48, make an offer if you're interested.
