I have a 277-X that I've been refurbishing, if you'd be satisfied with one without the output meter.

I've re-glued the dial cover, recapped it, added a new line cord, and cleaned the controls. It has RF output but I haven't yet tested the sweep functions, the BFO, or modulation, nor calibrated it. The output cable is original. It's a little crusty but still usable.

It's yours for $40 plus shipping, but it's darn heavy, so shipping might be the killer.

I'll get some photos posted this weekend.

Thanks Steve for your offer. I believe I would really prefer a 288X. And John, I went to the Canada Post site and plugged in the weight of a 288X and roughly estimated the carton size based on the Hickok's size and I came up with...gulp..$74.83! The shipping barons sure have us by the short hairs. Obviously I think I am going to have to keep looking but I appreciate your jumping in here with your offer.
