I am in search of a plug-in for my HP-8660C Signal Generator. I have a 86602B RF plug-in. It covers 1-MHz to 1300-MHz. What I need is the 86601A RF plug-in that covers 0.01-MHz to 110-MHz.

Working would be preferred, but I will consider one that is un-tested. However, I will pay no more than $65.00+ shipping for an untested one. These have 2 common failure modes:

Failure due to abuse: A signal was sent backward into the output connector and fried the attenuator, output transistor or both. A fried attenuator is (I am told) un-repairable. This makes me limit my to risk no more than $65.00 + shipping for an untested unit.

Failure due to attenuator epoxy migration. This is delicate work, but repairable.

If you can guarantee a working unit I may be willing to pay as much as $250.00 for a nice one. I have found them for that price from surplus dealers.

I have the 86631B External AM modulation plug-in
I would also be interested in any of the following modulation plug-ins:
86632
86633
86634
86635
86636

These plug-ins all do slightly different things and I never know what I will be doing tomorrow.

I would consider purchasing a complete HP8660 to get the 86601A plug-in if the price is right & shipping not too costly.

I am located in Madison, WI zip 53704
