I bought an SSTRAN but he ripped me off for the $165.00.

I really want one still but just cant figure out which. I dont need a real powerful one but I would like something that wont be very hummy.

I know there are ones online but I figured that if anyone here has one they dont need or use I could buy it.

Let me see what I can dig up for you, Kirk. I know I have another North Country AM-88 that works great, but can't find the top cover. I've a few others as well, including a couple of Chris Cuff's CQUAM transmitters.

Thanks and let me know Brenda.
Thank you John but I was hoping to get one from a member. If all else fails I will grab it online.

Hi Kirk,

I bought a transmitter from a guy on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/sean-jcil/m.ht ... pg=&_from=

I didn't see the one I bought listed, but it is a simple 100mW transmitter that could be tuned to different frequencies and had a SWR meter for tuning your antenna, etc. It cost like $130 IIRC, and it was well worth the price.

I've had good luck with the transmitter.

Sorry you had such bad luck with the SSTRAN.
