 Post subject: Testing Western Electric Tube 274B

I have some tubes from my dads estate many new old stock as he was a radio repairman all his working life. would like to show test on a Western Electric 274B tube. I have a tester but this tube is not listed, can anyone help with this?

Equivalent to type 5U4G/GA/GB. Test as a 5U4. The Western Electric type 274B tube is highly sought after.

What make and model is your tube tester. Chances are you might be able to find a supplemental tube data list, for your tester, somewhere on the internet or an ARF member might be able to supply the tube setup and tube data info that you seek.

Didn't see this brand tester listed:

As Norman mentioned test the 274B same as 5U4. Biggest difference is the price someone is willing to pay for WE.
