This Bliley 88.0000 crystal was in a card, and probably the rest of the oscillator
is on that card too. Anyway I pocketed it, lest it get broken.

Other numbers on the envelope are 97929 6906 .

Is one a date code?

The card could have come from apparatus made in the 60's. It may very well have operated around 88 kHz, and would have to clock very accurately.

I'd guess the 6909 is a 1969 date code. The 09 is probably the month. If it was on a plug
in card, the dates on the other parts might give some more clues.

Good, I'll snag the card, next time I'm there. the card plugs in to a rack. There are many cards, no rack.
It is part of a telemetry carrier system.

Or even more likely the week (ninth week, probably early March).
