I found three of these in a box of assorted red drop caps I picked up. Can anybody ID it? The body color is a brighter green than the photo shows.

+1 (or maybe even an impedance bridge)

If I ignore the green thing, I think I see a metal film or metal oxide resistor with axial leads. The leads going into the green thing may go to a coil wound on the resistor.

Larry,

Reed relay, SPST. The outside windings are the coil. The axial leads are the NO contacts.

You should be able to meter the coil resistance.

Pete

edit...
found this, similiar style:

It's one of two things...... A trigger coil for Zenon discarge bulb or a reed relay.

My guess is it's a reed relay. What resistance does the coil winding measure?

144.1 ohms, 144.8 ohms, and 144.2 ohms for the three.

Measure from the top pin to the bottom pins, Whats the resistances? Then only measure the bottom 3 pins. Whats the resistances between them?

The only leads showing resistance are the long pigtails (144 ohms).

I see 2 long leads. Above you state 3 leads. If all three leads have continuity, It's a trigger coil. If the two center leads have no continuity to any adjacent leads, then it's probabily a reed relay.

No, not three leads, three units. I have three of those doofunguses, as described in my original post.
