I bought some new 110pF caps that are marked like this: (3rd line down)

Cornell Dubilier
Mil-C-5
CM05FD111FO3.........THIS IS ON THE CAP
110pF 1% 500Volts
Radial Leads
Dipped Mica Capacitors

So what on the cap tells me it's 110pF?

The "111", meaning "11" times 10 to the "1" power, that is 11 * 10, which reduces to 110. Just like the resistor color code, except with numbers.

Thanks to all. I think that I'll carefully write 110 on the backs with permanent marker  .

I recommend learning to interpret the code. This isn't going to be the last coded cap you'll see.
