Hi guys i have ran across a bunch of old tubes, capacitors, resistors, Testing equipment. My grandfather used to Have a repair shop and radios, Tv's, Amplifiers, pretty much anything you can imagine if it was electronic was his specialty. He is having me clean out this equipment and I was wondering if any of the Equipment in the pictures may be of any value to him. I have tried looking up some of the items but dont know if there is any real market for it? There is many more electronic parts in Bin's that i havent even took pictures of, but here is a link to what i have took pictures of. http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/jj29 ... ?start=all

Thank you!!

Hi Thumpers,

There would be a lot of interest in the radio tubes in particular and moderate interest in the TV tubes. Parts such as capacitors, resistors, knobs, etc. are always of interest to collectors. There will be considerable interest in the phono parts and test equipment also. the newer tape recorders will get somewhat less interest and that is as far as I was able to get on your pictures. Where are you located? If you are near one of us or a radioo club, you could get help disposing of the parts and equipment. Post a location and help will be offered through the forum.

Pat

The Sencore tube tester is one of my favorites. They bring good money at auction but they must be packed as fragile goods. Assuming that you want to go through the hassle of selling on eBay or similar..
Tube prices vary wildly and that's an understatement. My suggestion is that you find a (hopefully honest) member of a local radio club to help you pick out the most desirable tubes. Those will bring very good money on eBay if you have the time and effort to sell them. The rest can go as small lots started at a low opening bid.

Knowing where you are can help us to help you.
