I am restoring a Knight Kit Star Roamer. It uses a unique 4-in-1 electrolytic capacitor (brand name Lil J) that has values of 30-30-30-50 mf. Before I replace it with 4 individual electrolytic caps, is anyone aware of a modern 4-in-1 replacement for this? I've done a bit of web research and it appears that 4-in-1 electrolytics are no longer made.

I don't know of any, and they would be expensive (custom-made) if they did exist.

If the new caps will fit, they can go inside the old can; there have been lots of restuffing techniques described here in the past few years.

By the way, posting the same question in more than one forum is frowned upon, and I expect one or the other will be locked.

Oops! Sorry about that! Figured I would have better odds by going to more than one forum, figuring folks don't necessarily hang out on all forums all the time. Next time I'll know better.

Thanks for the inputs, guys. Based on the new prices for 4-in-1 caps, guess replacing this with individual ones is cheaper. I'll see if I can re-stuff the old can.
