Visited my local surplus whse and came back with these goodies... The UV 200 is nice and was in a box of misc odds and ends, the others were more or less tossed in a big box... I knew nothing of the 6FW8 till Jim Cross mentioned it yesterday in the 12AX7 post here in tubes and parts(thanks Jim)...

I also bought a IBM 5150 PC case that has drives & power supply, finally a home for the motherboard I've had for almost 20 years...

Good job bagging those 6FW8's. I see
a GE 6DJ8 in there too.The GE 6DJ8 is a good tube.
The Audiophools do not seem to like them
but they work fine in test equipment.The only
piece of audio gear that I have that uses a 6DJ8
in the audio path is my Fisher FM1000.My ears
can't tell the difference between the GE
6DJ8's and ones from European manufacturers
when installed in that tuner.
