Bought a couple of 830B power triodes today for no particular purpose. They have good filiments and clean appearance. And neat looking graphite anodes. Should I suppose that any sort of test of these tubes will require a customized setup to perform? They are certainly not in the TV-7 flip chart. As I have nothing to run them in, I suppose they are merely displays, at this point. Probably like that with most of these big power tubes, I would expect.

Nice looking tubes. Might find someone that needs them for a transmitter? Rated 1000 plate volts. Plate dissipation is shown as 60 watts.
Unless you set up a special test with good filament and nice getter area tubes should be usable.
