Bad or worse, I'm sorry to say. The last I heard was some years ago, when he suffered a severe stroke and lost a lot of memory. I don't know if he's still alive. His website eventually went down but another guy mirrored it.

I had some snail mail correspondence with Bill about two months ago. He's still kicking and filling orders although limited in some of the things he can do.

It was Bill Nolan who stuck a 6E5 out in the garden to see if sunlight hurt it.

Oh heck, I'm sorry all. I was indeed thinking of Nolan Lee. "Bill Nolan"'s another guy I know. But I think Nolan Lee was the one who set a 6E5 out in the garden.
