Those tips are actually ancient Victrola record player needles. Those tips were pretty common in the 60s/70s. If you want to have leads with that threading and interchangeable tips, search ...military VOM test leads... on the bay.

I use the smallest gauge stainless antenna rod to replace the victrola needles and sharpen the tips. they make excellent backprobes.
