Just FYI - I have just posted this copyright 1928 graphic that you can download.

The French Battery Co. gave their #6 size Radio 'A' battery a Part No. 1211
I have another almost identical graphic that says it is for Ignition work. I will post that version of the graphic as time permits.

http://kd4hsh.homestead.com/Battery-Art-24.html

These snapshots are just of a sheet that I taped around one of my replica bodies. I have not yet made the correct center post or made a deeper end cap. I have also not given this new graphic an over-spray of transparent amber lacquer to knock the 'new look' off.

My thanks to Stephen Raymer of the Pavek Museum http://www.museumofbroadcasting.org/ for donating the cell shown on the right for me to put into my scanner.

I hope someone will find the matching 45 Volt 'B' battery so I can recreate the graphic. (I do have the #5151 'C' Bias battery with this style graphic but I've not invested the time yet to generate the graphic.)

Robert

Thanks Robert, These make a unique and more colorful alternative to the Eveready labels commonly found.

Fantastic... Thank You

I encourage other viewers to contribute artwork for other batteries.

I have crated quite a few battery labels but have nowhere to host them online for download. Mostly 40's and 50's battery packs for portable radios but I also have some 1920's Eveready B battery labels.

Beautiful work! This is a very pretty #6 dry cell label, appropriate for 1920s sets. I’ve down-loaded the file. Many thanks for this.

For those who are wondering how Robert scans a No. 6 dry cell, go to the following thread to see his ingenious method:
