Air show at our local airbase and this guy just happened to be flying in while I was on the boat this afternoon. It's pretty small since all I had was my cell phone but still pretty cool to see.

Way cool! Pays to have a boat, doesn't it? You wouldn't have that photo without the boat.

Nothing wrong with that picture. One can immediately see and know what type of aircraft that is.

Great photo! I can just barely read "Spirit of" but can't make out the rest.

Only 20 survivors - rare birds to see, much less to see in the wild....

XB-35 or YB-49 maybe? Unfortunately, there are no examples of either one, nor is their and example of the Martin P-6M. All destroyed after cancellation of the contracts. How sad...

The Udvar-Hazy annex of the National Air and Space Museum (Smithsonian) has the only Horten Flying Wing from Nazi Germany. I saw it in the restoration center - they were removing dust covers from the top, and uncovered the Nazi Swastikas - eerie to say the least.
The USAF and Lockheed studied it for several years before transferring it to the Smithsonian, which is restoring it for display. It won't be perfect, just a specimen to display.

German engineering!
"Project Paperclip" recycled all of their best tech.

But yes, with the swastikas it is eerie. :|

The only remaining Northrop N9MB can be seen at the Chino Air Museum, and it has been restored to flyable condition:
