http://www.ebay.com/itm/PDC63-PARA-DYNA ... 813wt_1196 What is this lol? Also there is a ebay listing for a panasonic rf 2200 with antenna coupler. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panasonic-8-Ban ... 1236wt_964 what does it do? I always thought antenna coupler was for transmission, I'm confused.... Is it something I want? Is there a commercial or second party unit sold? I'm always looking for a gadget that will be of interest to improving reception AM through 30Mz There are preselectors, amps, antenna tuners etc. What is Your favorite "gadget"? Have a great day! marc

That's basically an antenna "splitter" so you can run your car radio and another receiver from the same antenna.
Not many scanners use a Motorola connector anymore; most use either SO-239 or BNC.

Pretty much useless. :D

...that 'antenna coupler' with the RF-2200 is an accessory you could order when you bought the radio (an order form for it was packaged with a new RF-2200; I presume it was also available with some of the other contemporary Panasonic radios). It's basically just an L-C tuning circuit for use with an external antenna, primarily intended for shortwave listening...those things are rare now and if you have one, it tends to increase the value of your 2200 (which is high enough as it is)...
