Rima and I had the pleasure of having dinner Tuesday with Mark Palmquist, and seeing his collection. For those of you who do not know, Mark makes excellent replacement plastic dial covers. The rocking chairs he made were also quite comfortable. At dinner, we ran into a couple who go to the same church. The woman is the head asbestos & lead regulator in Georgia, so I also enjoyed talking a little "shop" with her.

Didn't he injure his back?

Mark seems just fine, and it was quite nice meeting him and enjoying the evening with him.

I'll second the compliments about Mark's work. I have gotten a couple of them from him, including a "custom" job for an uncommon set. Excellent work!

Yes, I also have to support Mark's work. I have purchased 6 or 8 dial covers from him by this point. I especially appreciate the installation he does on covers held in by the tiny rivets. Send him the escutcheon and he removes the old one and installs for only your charge for shipping it to him, i.e. nothing to him. He will also not charge extra for a dial cover he does not yet have in his inventory. He just adds that to his list and eats the extra engineering cost. Real great guy to have in the community.
Good to hear is is doing well.
(Not affiliated with him..just a happy customer over the years)
