Guys,
This is just a dumb idea, but a local high school rock band is looking for a name.... Are there any good radio names you guys can think of that would sound cool for this? Right now, the best names they have come up with are "Off the rails", "Us", and "First Light" so they have a long way to go...
McMurdo Silver may be one...
Thanks & good luck.

Thanks & good luck. Problem is , We need to know what kind of "Rock" this band plays ....... "oldies" rockers could easily get by with "The Silvertones" or other such , , , Thrash Deathmetal rockers , not so much ......

This is where we need to know more about this band; do they play their own songs or do they just play covers and most importantly, if they write their own songs what are the main lyrical themes?Your band name is a big part of who you are as a band so if the name dosen't reflect the sound of the band you run the risk of being taken as a joke regardless of the qualtily of your music.
I'm not all that up to speed on the different radio model names so i can't be of much help there but hopefully the above can be of some help.

How about "Air Chief" ? I always thought (unless it's been taken), one from the genre of '50s SciFi Movies would be cool: "Attack of The 50 ft. Woman"

The Tubes has been taken.
Umm let's see. The Transistors? Kinda focusing on the time period of music they are playing.
"Not another 1B3!!"
The Oceanics or The Trans-Oceanics?

Now Raining Bullets on the other hand. The back drop behind the drums could be a whole bunch of Fada bullets falling from the sky. Nick
