Does anyone know where Buzz is? Is he in Taiwan? Is he cleaning up his house and fixing his oven door?
Inquiring minds want to know.

From what I read on his last video he said he will be off for awhile but did not go into details.
He does some great radio repairers and cabinet repairers and with a twist of humor thrown in.
I always enjoyed his videos.

Speaking of Buzz, does anyone know how he inserts those sound effects into his videos? Is there some software that does it automatically? I can't imagine how long it would take to add each one individually.

Hiding from a certain British lawyer that's after him.

In one of his later videos he shows the software. A lot of the Dickel stuff uses the special effects. From time to time he tells some details, such as why he uses comics on his workbench and how he keeps the camera on manual focus. He hasn't gone into where he gets the sounds from (that I know of.)

I hope he is OK...he disappeared suddenly and I really miss his vids... have learned so much from him and John! However, the bantering and potato wars are getting old, so I just ignore them...I hope that I am not worrying over some stupid story line...

Fear not...Buzz is OK. BTW...since you find the potato wars vids to be getting old, vids you're not required to view, then perhaps it would be best if you unsubscribed from at least my channel. Just a thought.

I found a 2 week old comment from Buzz saying he's alive and well and was just tired of the old grind. When you think about it, it probably takes more time to make the videos than it does to repair the radios.

John, My sincere apologies for my flaming post...I was really worried that something had happened to him (illness, accident, etc.)...the sudden disappearance alarmed me. I really enjoy both of your channels and I have learned so much from the both of you...I know it takes a lot of time and effort to do these videos.

As per your wishes, I have unsubscribed...I am sorry for offending you or Buzz, and I hope you two keep teaching beginners (like me) to love and learn this hobby.

Jeff

Jeff, it was not a "flaming post." I found it odd that badrestorer took some offense to your remark about the potato king videos. Probably because he LOST!

We watch Buzz1151 to see him restore his radios. He is an inspiration to us. After John's reply to you I would unsubscribe him too. Some of us don't watch Buzz just to to see him grow potatoes.

Many of us were worried about Buzz, I'm sure. I certainly was. Apparently John was in some sort of mood.

John, that response to Jeff was not cool.

Mike
