Elementary Electronics is a great source for TV-related 'toons.

I like that.
"Electronics for Canadians"

I remember seeing one of the "Wallace and Gromit" flicks and Gromit was reading a book called "Electronics for Dogs" :D

Was one I saw some years ago...TV repairman is standing by a set lying (or is it laying?) on it's side. He tells the owner his set has a vertical hold problem. The repairman's tool box had "Hit-R-Miss TV Repair."

I wish I could remember where I saw this cartoon. It was some magazine back in the late 60's. Some poor schmuck
was all tangled up in the film from a malfunctioning projector. The caption was of some wise guy in the audience turning around
and saying "kind of slow, aren't ya pal?". The look of frustration on the projectionists face had me and my brothers laughing for days.

Greetings to the Forum:

Back when I worked for KCBS, we had a slide that was rarely used; I think I saw it only twice the whole 32 years I worked there, but it was great. It was a cartooned technician with his head inside a big camera on a dolly and he was throwing handfuls of parts over his shoulder in a steady stream... sort of like when a dog digs a hole in the ground. The caption? Of course: "We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please stand by.."

Regards,

Greetings to the Forum:

Back when I was still at the KCBS TV Transmitter, when people would find out what I did for a living,
they would often say something like "I guess you go to work when they put up that 'Technical Difficulties' slide".
Whereupon I would reply, "If you can see that slide, my department is fine. If all you see is snow,
that's when I have to go to work."

Regards,

My Dad had a whole lot of the wartime "Punch" magazine almanacs - one cartoon I distinctly remember was a young lady totally naked in the bath with a radio on a chair at the foot of the bath. The announcer on the radio was saying "We are now taking you over to the Royal Albert Hall" - the lady had a suitably startled expression on her face!
