I found an old photo taken of me in my basement workroom back in May of 1973. I was 15 years old. Most of the parts boxes you see are still in that room. Some of the parts in those boxes too. When I moved back to my parents house to take care of them in their old age I reclaimed the workroom. I knocked down a wall and expanded it and added lots more shelves. It feels great being back in the only real "man cave" I ever had.

Great picture!

I usually shudder when looking at old photos of myself.

My Dad had a workshop that he allowed me to use during my early years growing up as a wanna-be radio restorer collector.

I had left my stash of parts at their house when I moved out, and Dad was generous enough to give me a last chance call to claim them before throwing them out, which I took advantage of.

I can hear a lady in the background yelling "you just gotta get a haircut"

Looks like and AMT model kit of a Vega on the shelf.

You look like the kid on "Third Rock From the Sun".

Milwaukee? You must have been a fan of "That 70s Show".

The old pictures of me are just fine; it's the recent ones that cause the shudders!

1973? Even Walter Cronkite had long hair.

Pretty cool to get the old basement back and find the same old stuff in it.

My dad made me and my brothers get "brush" haircuts until we got to the 5th grade in school. At that point he said we were old enough to decide for ourselves. I immediately went to long hair and pretty much kept that look until just a couple of years ago.

Just for fun I should have my dad take a pic of me in that same radio room now. Putting the old and new pic together on the computer would be cool.

About 2 years after that pic, when I was a highschool senior I remember my dad coming down into the basement on a friday night and tell me to get the heck out of there and go find a girlfriend or at least go hang out with my friends.
