A vintage radio & Electronics swap meet will be held Sunday, September 16th.

As a thank you to our members and to the general public who support the club, WARCI is happy to announce that there will be no seller’s fee for this meet. Coupled with free admission and free parking, you’ll only need to bring money for buying radios!

General Meet Information

Doors open at 8:00 AM for vendor setup. The flea market starts at 8:00 AM, announcements are held at 10:30 AM followed by the donation auction and free pizza (usually around 11:00). Each meet will vary slightly, so check out the monthly flyer for more information!

As typical of most swap meets, the items are for sale by individual collectors, and most are one-of-a-kind. So for best selection (and the best deals), BE EARLY! But please stay around and get to meet some of the club members. These swap meets are a great way to connect with other local collectors that share your interests. By socializing at the meets you can find others that may have what you are looking for, radios & parts, people that can service your radios, and you can make some good friends.

Tables will be provided for indoor use only and are first-come, first-serve.

Address:
The Terminal, 5917 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207

For more information please go to http://www.warci.org

Keywords: radio, TV, television, phono, phonograph, stereo, hifi, hi-fi, amp, amplifier, receiver, Zenith, Philco, RCA, electronics, vacuum tubes, tester, meter, antenna, Zorkumünder, capacitor, resistor, transistor.

Was a warm one today!

Great attendance, lots of good stuff in the donation auction (especially the tubes), great pizza, and a lot of happy faces. We'll be doing it again October 14th in Madison, Wisconsin.

Are you the guy that was selling those nice AK and GE radios near the gate?

I'm the guy with the pickup truck that had the blue tarp strung up for shade.

More of us need to wear nametags with our forum handles on them. I had mine on.

I found myself in the backround of another pic. I zoomed in and cropped. Relaxing on a padded chair on my tailgate and enjoying the shade from my sail. I sold a couple of radios, donated a Radiola 60 and picked up a bunch of small boatanchor receivers and transmitters. My best buy of the day was a Bird 43 watt meter. Very clean with carrying case, 2 slugs and 4 connectors. $25

I recognize you, blue tarp guy! Have the RCA model 118 I got from you on the workbench to start in on it this afternoon.

Anyone remember the asking price on the Nunn-Landon CASCADE battery set? And which model? Apparently that cabinet was used for several years.
Just restored one this summer for a guy.. Interesting circuit...
