The Michigan Antique Radio Club's "Vintage Electronics Expo" is returning Sat Jan 26 2019 to the Costick Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan. 28600 Eleven Mile Rd,

Last year's event was a record breaker with over 800 in the door and over 120 seller tables plus booths sold out. This show has doubled in just 4 years.
This year will be similar to previous shows :
General Admission $5 event runs 9am-4pm.
"Early buyers" entry at 7:30 for $15.
Dealers can enter as early as 7:30. First table $35 each extra $10. A steal compared to any other collector shows.
"Silent Auctions" run 10am-11am, noon -1pm. Club gets 10% of sale amount. Limited spaces for items. See coordinator in that area about half hour before each auction.

Turntable set up seminar by past MARC President, John Reinicke at 1pm on main stage.

NEW this year: Amp/receiver/tuner CLINIC by Jeff Hall of Muse Audio in Ann Arbor. He will run the item thru its paces and give a report at end. $20 per item, MARC gets half.

Bargain Auction at 3pm near stage in Gym room. Stuff typically sells for under $10 per item or box lot. Many deals there!

Should have coffee and donuts for sale as well as a simple lunch menu (pizza or hot dogs, sodas) on hand this year.

Pix of the last year's events below. Gas is cheap, so grab a pal or spouse or your pet and have a drive to one of the largest "Vintage Electronics" event in the USA. I will have about 12 tables of knobs, capacitors, power cords, whatever... come by and say hi.

Note: vendors, this year please park in the EAST lot after unloading, we had a problem last year with lack of parking for attendees out front !
See you there.

Been there twice as a buyer, this year as a seller. I will probably also buy but I'm trying to downsize so I'll have to be picky.

Been to two previous expos at the Costick Center . I will be there again this year, this time as an ARF and Philco Phorum member. Hope to meet as many of you as possible, especially some of the early Atwater-Kent and Freed-Eisemann gurus! Has anyone ever thought of using name tags at these events to make it easier to identify each other? Just my two cents... Take care, Gary

Gary , make up name tags for ARF readers and put them on the check in table early on, or, better, get them to me or anyone on the MARC Board so we can put them there the night before. Big letters "ARF" and a place to put a name with a sharpie, make a little sign maybe saying "If you are an Antique Radio Forum" reader, take a tag".

Wow, the show appears to be dramatically larger than it was when Rima and I attended in 2015. Good job!

More than doubled in 4 years ! Looking to be a sell out of over 120 tables.

NOTE ! , a very nice nearby estate will be showing up with a selection of the radios and flyers of whats on offer. I saw the collection, its over 70 mostly "better grade" battery radios and some AC radios up to 1940 or so, plus some communications radios and repair shop with test gear.
What I saw... Stromberg-Carlson 601 huge table radio, AK 20C, 35, 45 , 46, a small AK tombstone, Grebe Synchrophase, Freshman Masterpiece, Crosley 51, Radiola III and IIIA, all the icons of the 20's really. Several horns missing the bases, a few complete ones, a couple cone speakers. Most of this stuff is above the average condition. the estate is just about 7 miles from the show site. The owner passed away aged 90+, family wants to move it all out. Son in law Yuri will be on site with stuff.
