Well, Kutztown unofficially starts a week from today with the Thursday preview - if you are not registered as a vendor, it costs $15 per person to shop on Thursday. The official opening is a week from tomorrow (Friday).

And since we're so close...

Here is the downloadable Kutztown map in PDF format (see attached file), containing an index of those booths which were reported to me. You can open this in Adobe Reader or any other software capable of viewing and printing PDF files and print your own high-resolution map and index.

If anyone has any additions or corrections, I can make changes/corrections as needed - but you need to send those changes and/or corrections to me no later than Sunday, May 8, by 6 pm. After then I won't have time to make any further changes in time for the May show.

Sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality! Thanks also to Steve Johnson who had the original idea of a map a few years ago, which I found to be a big help when I attended Kutztown for the first time in 2013.

Downloadable map has been revised to add MrLee's booth.

Hey Bruce - you have to make it to Kutztown sometime soon, my friend! To paraphrase the original head of Men's Wearhouse..."You're gonna love the way Kutztown looks. I guarantee it." :D

I have space 646 in the second pavilion.
I will have a Federal 61, Stromberg Carlson 58T, A tan Zenith Transoceanic with an original large battery, a Zenith table model with the black dial, Thorola battery set, and possibly an later AK console, and more.
Most are working.
I wear a US Navy hat. Looking for obscure battery sets.
Drive a red Sienna from MA with a bashed in rear. Plate ends in Tl.

I will be bringing a ton of radios to sell from my two tables in booth 643, and I plan to be there around 5 or 6 pm on Thursday. I will have mostly a variety of transistor radios, but I will also have some odds and ends like radio direction finders, an early RCA oscilloscope and some oddball tubes for the tube collectors. Stop by and say hello!

I'll be coming Friday only, and to make some deliveries of stuff purchased here on ARF, and to say hello.
I'm in the market for mostly amateur stuff:

Early weird stuff used in 20's ham stations: motor rectifiers, DC generators, vintage slop jars, big throw switches, huge air coils, etc.
Homebrew transmitter components, old rack stuff
Tubes: Taylor and big old military jobs.
Big iron: transformers HV and filament, big chokes, swinging chokes.
Military transmitters
and will be scrounging for 20's, 30's transmitter parts, parts, parts

See you there!
S.O.

The Tennessee Contingent will be there Thursday with a trailer load of goodies. Cliff, Joe Z and Joe K will be in Booth 357.

Got some nice Zenith consoles that need a new home.

Got something special for you Rock!

Can hardly wait, especially since I missed Charlotte this year.

Joe

According to the local weather this morning here chance of rain in the morning with thunderstorms early afternoon as a front moves through on Friday. Pack those tarps and be ready just in case.

Well, it's not like Hurricane Ivan in '04, but K-town usually has better weather:

Friday
A chance of showers before 9am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 9am and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Areas of fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms

To those of you who have been to the Kutztown show on a Thursday before, when do people usually show up? Last year I set up shop on Friday morning and I missed out on the early buying and selling, but I would like to be there for it this year.
