A Chong Ong provided these photos to me he took at this past May's National Vintage Communications Fair just outside London, UK. It's 180 photos and about a ten minute slideshow (select upper right). A lot to like and covet, and most things seem to run 50-100 pounds or $65-130 dollars US.

LOTS of stuff to want here, shows what I know about English radios.

I have to admit, the items offered there are much more interesting, are of a wider variety, and are of a better quality then what I normally see at shows here in the Midwest. I didn't see very many radios, in that slide show, with delaminated or horribly refinished wooden cabinets, of course, the British did make extensive use of bakelite cabinets.

The British do seem far less likely to strip, slather with poly, and praise the blanched cratered results.
