Now you sound like my wife. She too frequented the pizza stand and since we only live 45 min away we hit Renningers about 12-15 times a year and she almost always got some pizza. She's bummed about it being gone. On the other hand we always stop at the Philips girls for a cup of coffee and a yummy. Nicest people you'd ever want to meet.

I'll be at booth 550 with a large selection of NEW/NOS/Reclaimed parts. Come by and say 'hello'.

On Thursday night it is a tradition for many of the show attendees to gather at the Basin Street Hotel pub for dinner and socializing.
My favorite there happens to be the wings and a beer or two. You can get the wings in over a dozen different flavors, are crispy and tasty, and come with bleu cheese and celery too. Others have their own faves for sure. I recall Steve (Azenithnut) favors the chicken strips.

Oh and if one remembers, they can get a 10% discount on food if they show them a coupon that's on the Basin Street website.

Unless we get a washout this weekend we are planning to take the drive down. Shopping list includes some supplies, test equipment, and maybe a project or completed radio for our house in Beaver Springs. I also want to tackle the restoration of our RCA Electrola Phonograph, so if there is someone in particular you guys recommend I seek out down there, please say the word.

Think we might try that place for wings. We've been going to the Starlite Diner which is right next to Comfort Inn Lehigh Valley West where we stay every year. I see the pictures of the gang so maybe we will join you and try those wings. I like the hot ones!

Still loading the trailer and have a nice Midwest some table models and a poor man's Napier cabinet for a Scott!

Will be looking for a Philco 37-604 to add to the collection. If you got one bring it!

Might bring a few 2A3 tubes and some extra Zenith speakers. See if I can't find a few more radios to bring. Sometimes it is hard to part with them!

Cliff will have some audio stuff and some ham stuff as usual. He picked up a Johnson Killowatt (the half desk) after the Michigan meet and it took three of us to slid it in the trailer.

Really looking forward to it!

I understand that the Campus Inn is going to be torn down and rebuilt as a Hampton Inn sometime in the near future. If you don't mind a short drive from the meet, head for Snuzzles in Dryville. Superb pizzas.

I can't make it this time---I'll miss seeing everyone.

Between now and May, I plan to do some housecleaning and be in a position to help people feed their habit.....;) (This new year's resolution is set on auto-repeat....)

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the possibility of rain. This system is the remains of Irma and could burn out completely before it travels this far North and East.

OH, any Knob seekers, PLEASE bring your samples for matching. Mike Koste, Julie McCall, and I will all be there with knobs. Or bring clear pix of the shafts you are fitting them on so we can see how far the shaft protrudes and what type it is. This is most important for post WW2 radios which started to recess their shafts. I will have the clock radio repair shafts with me too and about 500 clock knobs sorted by color.

Look for wife Leann with the BLUE hair, and my bright orange banner overhead.

I am at booths 448 and 450

Doesn't seem very threatening, 1/10 of an inch. Thursday doesn't matter really as only dealers are affected, that may be 1/4 inch.

Hi everybody,
On Thursday after set up, I will looking to buy from and hope to sell to other vendors; does anyone else plan to do the same? The vendor only admission that day does not mean no buying/selling at all, right?

Nobody says you can't buy and sell on Thursday.

IF you pay for a dealer space you can. Hopefully this won't end up like Rochester where most "dealer" spaces are empty of good for sale because they are only there attempting to beat everyone else.

ALSO bear in mind admission begins at NOON Thursday, lineup at the gate begins in the morning.
