Wake up Little Suzie, Bird Dog, Bye Bye Love, Dream, dream, dream, those were all on that album for sure. Anyway, that album was my first recollection of the Everly Bros, and Bird Dog got a lot of airplay around here. By Spring 1960, I was in Grade 5 and those kids had moved away. Cathy's Clown I would have heard on the radio enough times that I don't need to hear it again. I heard it as "that tragic clown" and only heard the real words when Burton Cummings recorded it with one of the bros, Phil I think. OK, back to the doowop era.

I'm streaming an internet Delta Blues station from my laptop to my Sparton 1867 via a Bluetooth receiver. I have the radio turned so it faces an open window, and I'm sitting under an umbrella on the patio, sipping some iced tea on this gorgeous 77 degree day. That's about as animated as I plan on getting today.

I have been listening to mostly modern dance-type music recently, such as Solo by Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato, Put Them Up by Edun, several songs by Kesha, Cheap Thrills by Sia, and similar music. Lots of fun!

While working at the bench, Classis Arts Showcase on the big satellite dish, now available on the internet too. free of charge and no commercials, a North Dakota man bequeathed his fortune to put it on the air.
