I don't usually pay much attention to box sets, but the Zenith logo on this one caught my eye. I found it at our local Salvation Army thrift store, and other than some scuffs on the box, the album covers in the box and the records themselves appear to be near mint. It offers a very nice selection of instrumental and vocal recordings. The set appears to have been produced in partnership with Capitol Records.

Featured artists include Nat King Cole, Jackie Gleason, Vic Damone, Peggy Lee, The Lettermen, Ella Fitzgerald, Glen Campbell, Rod McKuen, and Nelson Riddle.

That reminds me of RCA console stereos came with a record pack back in the 70's.

I wonder if these were sold through Zenith dealers or included with your purchase of a Zenith stereo set in 1968?

They were sold thru the Zenith dealer, they only came with the set if you did a lot of arm twisting with the salesman or the salesman would throw it in in order to close the sale.

They had a different set every year from about 1966 thru 1973. I have five of the sets.

Oh, the 50th anniversary set was for the 1969 year.
